Commitment to Child Safety

ANOOSHCA is committed to the safety, wellbeing, and empowerment of all children and young people.  We follow the Child Safe Standards and work hard to create a strong culture of child safety throughout our organization.

We have zero tolerance for child abuse and aim to create environments where children feel respected, valued, and heard. We take all concerns seriously and have clear policies and procedures to respond to and report suspected abuse.

We are always working to improve how we protect children. This includes making sure Aboriginal children, children from diverse cultural backgrounds, and children with disabilities all feel safe, included, and culturally respected.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, the traditional educators and caretakers of the land on which we gather, learn, and play.

We recognize and respect their deep connection to this land, its waters, and its skies.

We commit to fostering a community that values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, stories, and traditions.
