Enrolments and 'Priority of Access'

We operate within the Australian Government’s Priority of Access Guidelines.  These guidelines state that the following levels of priority must be followed when filling vacancies:

Priority 1 – a child at risk of serious abuse or neglect

Priority 2 – a child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy, the work, training, study test under section 14 of the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) Act 1999

Priority 3 – any other child

Where waitlists occur, families classified a priority three may be required to surrender their position to a family who meet higher priority criteria.  If this is necessary, 14 days notice will be provided.  To avoid having to surrender your position please ensure you contact Humans Services (13 61 50), who will conduct the work, study, training test and notify us via CCMS (Child Care Management System) of your status.
